Frequently Asked Questions

Taking FlyWell

How do I take FlyWell?

Mix one stick into 10-16 oz of cold water and shake. Start a day or two before your trip, have one about an hour before your flight, then one each morning while you're away. Don't take more than 2 sticks in 24 hours.

It tastes a little strong. Any tips?

Use the full 16 oz of water, or a bit more. Mix it cold and shake it in a bottle so it dissolves all the way. If some settles at the bottom, give it another shake.

How many sticks do I need for a trip?

One a day, starting a day or two before you leave. A 15-stick bag covers about two weeks for one person. Traveling with someone? Grab two bags.

Will it make me sleepy?

No. There's no melatonin or sleep aid in it. Chamomile, L-theanine and magnesium help you feel calm, and most people say they still feel alert when they land.

Does FlyWell have caffeine?

No. It's caffeine-free, so a red-eye or a late flight is no problem.

Can I drink it when I'm not traveling?

Yes. Lots of customers keep a bag at home for long workdays and busy weeks. Stick to 2 sticks max in 24 hours.

Taste and ingredients

What does it taste like?

Passion Fruit Tangerine is bright and fruity. Lemon Lime is a light citrus. Both get a little sweetness from monk fruit, so neither tastes like a sugary sports drink.

What's in FlyWell?

Electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium), vitamin C, zinc and B vitamins, plus ginger, peppermint, chamomile, L-theanine and ashwagandha. One stick replaces the pile of bottles you'd otherwise pack.

Is there sugar in it?

No. FlyWell has zero sugar and zero calories.

Is it vegan, gluten-free and keto-friendly?

Yes to all three. It's dairy-free too, with no artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners.

Does it contain any allergens?

FlyWell has no gluten or dairy. It's made from plant ingredients, so if you have plant allergies, read the ingredient list and check with your doctor first.

Safety

Can I take FlyWell if I'm pregnant or nursing?

We don't recommend it while you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

I take medication. Is FlyWell OK for me?

Ask your doctor before you start. Some herbal ingredients can interact with medications.

Can kids take FlyWell?

Ask your pediatrician first.

Are there side effects?

Most people feel fine. If it doesn't sit well with you, stop taking it and talk to your doctor.

Travel

Can I bring FlyWell through airport security?

Yes, in your carry-on or checked bag. Each stick is a small single serving. TSA screens powder containers over 12 oz separately, and the officer makes the final call. Flying abroad? Check your destination's rules before you pack.

Does FlyWell help with jet lag?

It's made to support what wears you down on travel days: hydration, digestion, circulation and calm. Customers on 9 to 20-hour flights tell us they landed with more energy and less fog. Everyone's body is different, so results vary.

Is it only for flying?

No. Customers bring it on road trips, cruises, long drives and hiking trips too.

Orders

Can I try FlyWell before buying a full bag?

Yes. The First Flight pack gets you 3 sticks, both flavors, for $7.99 with free shipping.

How fast does my order ship?

Orders ship from Florida. Most US orders arrive in 1-3 business days.

Can I subscribe?

Yes. Subscriptions ship free, and you can pause or cancel anytime from Manage Subscriptions at the bottom of our site.

What if FlyWell isn't for me?

You're covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Email info@drinkflywell.com and we'll take care of you.

Where is FlyWell made?

FlyWell was started in Florida by a team of frequent travelers, and it's made in the USA.

Why does FlyWell cost more than a basic electrolyte packet?

A basic packet covers hydration. FlyWell adds vitamins and plant ingredients for digestion, circulation and calm, so one stick does the work of several supplements.
